The handbook
All questions come from Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents (3rd edition). It is sold as a paperback, eBook and audiobook.
Practice tests
You do not have to pay to practise: our full mock test is free with no sign-up. Full access, with every question explained and a readiness dashboard, is a one-off payment for 90 days, with no subscription. Failing costs another £50, so practising until you pass mock tests consistently is the cheapest route.
Not part of this fee
The citizenship or settlement application has its own fee, which is much higher and changes over time. Check the current amount on gov.uk before you apply: gov.uk/apply-citizenship-indefinite-leave-to-remain
